Eijiro started to play trombone at the age of 5. 1991, when he still studied at high school, he produced his 1st album “Eijiro Nakagawa & Funk’55” which recorded in New York. By being fluent in both jazz and classical idioms, Eijiro is in constant demand in the recording studios. He can be heard on countless records backing up some of the hottest artists in Japan as well as being on many jingles, soundtracks and television shows. 2007, he became the first Japanese performed in “Tony Award 2007” and joined the recording of “Super Trombone” with other world top trombonists. 2008, he released his 4th solo album “E”, and made a nation-wide concert tour with Makoto Ozone. He is one of the best trombonists in his generation.
